CN Rail’s bridge at the Gogama train derailment site is back open.

The Gogama Fire Department announced through their Facebook page the main line reopened around noon Wednesday, adding rail traffic will increase over the next 24 hours.

The department adds there will be delays in the area because of this rail traffic.

The opening is a little ahead of schedule, as officials hoped to have the repairs done in a span of two to three weeks.
