Minor soccer players across the city are prepping for a memorable Saturday.

It’s the Timmins Porcupine Minor Soccer League’s annual season celebration, being held at the Timmins Regional Athletics and Soccer Complex all day long.

Every player from U-5 to U-17 will play their final games of the summer, followed by trophy presentations and free pizza and soda.

The upper field at TRASC will also be occupied in the morning with a series of drills for kids between 8-12 years old.  Those drills will run from 9:00am to noon.

President Joel Brunet says they expect around 700 kids, along with their friends and relatives throughout the day.
