Emergency services could be on the move

Ambulance and fire hall services could be under one roof in a few years.

The city is looking at putting money into amalgamating the two services into a building on Northern College property, with the college also providing a training lab for students in the same building.

The D-SSAB building is proving too small for the ambulance bay, and the city has tentatively put $200,000 into a reserve fund for this new facility.
