* UPDATE *

Lapointe’s case is  being pushed back to December 17th and 18th, 2015.  The defence didn’t have the time to get through their arguments in the two previous days.

His defence lawyer is claiming he can be rehabilitated but the Timmins Police have testified they no longer want him among their ranks. Police also mentioned during their testimony, Lapointe failed to meet certain objectives during set in performance reviews. The prosecution says he lacked, computer skills, consistently needed help taking notes, and was not confident speaking to or approaching susptect.  This, on top of what they call behaviour issues are why the TPS no longer want him employed with them.

The trial resumes December 17th at 10 a.m.
