The Ontario Energy Board is coming to Timmins to spark a conversation on electricity matters. Consumers and the media are invited to learn more at an upcoming council meeting and Open House Information Session.

What:             The session will inform attendees about:
·         The role of the OEB and how it advocates for consumers
·         Consumer Protection rules, consumer rights and responsibilities
·         The Ontario Electricity Support Program and other low-income support programs
Who:              Representatives from the OEB
When:            Tuesday, June 7, 6-10 p.m., City Council Meeting
Wednesday, June 8, Open House 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and
Public Presentation 4-6 p.m., McIntyre Community Centre
