Timmins Police Official-Badge

The Timmins Police Service was called to the scene of an alleged vandalism incident in June where two passenger vehicles sustained damage in excess of $5000.00 at a McLeod Street residence in Timmins.

Timmins Police officers along with Scenes of Crime Officers conducted a thorough analysis of the damage to both vehicles and the crime scene itself. The investigation was further continued by the Criminal Investigations Section.

As a result of the conclusion of the investigation, Terry COOL, 64, of Timmins has been charged with:

  • One count of Fraud Over $5000.00 contrary to section 380(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
  • One count of Fabricating Evidence contrary to section 137 of the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Two counts of Public Mischief contrary to section 140(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

COOL has been arrested by the Timmins Police Service and released from custody on a Promise To Appear, requiring him to attend Provincial Court in Timmins on August 23rd to answer to the charges.
