Youth charged for damaged property

The Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into a disturbance on Tuesday July 26th at a Suzanne Street apartment building in Timmins.

A Timmins Police Services officer responded to a call for service where a youth is alleged to have damaged a wall within an apartment.

The suspect was located by police a short while later and was taken into custody.

The Timmins Police have charged a 17 year old male youth of Timmins with one count of Mischief Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The youth, who cannot be named in keeping with the stipulations of the Youth Criminal Justice Act was arrested at the scene and was released on an Undertaking requiring that he attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on September 12th to answer to the charge.
