Pink t-shirt campaign back for third year

Local firefighters are leading the charge to create awareness for breast cancer this month.

It’s the 3rd annual Breast Cancer Awareness pink t-shirt fundraiser, with all proceeds going towards the Breast Wellness Centre at Timmins and District Hospital.

T-shirts are $20 each, and can be purchased at the fire hall on Cedar South.

Last year, they raised $2,169 and are hoping to surpass that this time around.
