St. Paul School will be quite different in September 2017, and a name change is just the beginning of it.

As a result of a recent Accommodations Review, students from Sacred Heart will make the move over next school year and the province is kicking in $6.7 million dollars for building upgrades to accommodate around 150 new students.

In addition, the funding will cover the construction of two new child care rooms.

Since 2003, the province has invested $233.5M in new schools, additions and capital for school boards in Timmins and north eastern Ontario.
