It’s a loaded up city council meeting Monday night.

Director of Public Works Luc Duval is up to discuss next year’s budget for roads and vehicles, and there’s a request to put a crosswalk near St. Mary’s Gardens on Pine Street South.

Plus, an update to a proposed increase to water and sewer rates.

There’s five delegations in total, one of them being Sport Achievement Awards by Mayor Steve Black.

It’s not the first time he’s put on something like this.  If you recall earlier this fall, Black handed out a number of awards to athletes across the city for recent achievements in sport.

Back then, he said it’s something he wanted to do more often and Monday will keep in that tradition.

Council begins at 6pm and is streamed live on Timmins.ca
