Cornwall Police is laying multiple fraud charges on a Timmins man.

Media Relations Officer Dan Cloutier says 34-year old Jonathan Cox faces 10 counts of fraud under $5,000 after his employer noticed money missing.

He says throughout 2016, Cox allegedly defrauded the employer on several occasions by crediting his personal account with money belonging to the business.

The employer then contacted police, who investigated and made the arrest.

Police will not say what business was involved or how much money was taken, in accordance with Cornwall Police policy.
