The Timmins Police Service executed a search warrant on Thursday, January 5th at a residence located in the west of end of Timmins.

Quantities of various types of controlled substances were seized including: methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, and cannabis resin.

The total street value of the narcotics seized is pegged at over $18,000.

Prohibited weapons and a over $4500.00 in cash was also seized as evidence by the Timmins Police.Service – Drug Enforcement Section officers.

As a result, Blake KITTMER, 33, and Sara KITTMER, 20, both of Timmins have been charged with:

  • Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – methamphetamine
  • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – cocaine
  • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – Clonazepam
  • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – Oxycodone
  • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – marijuana
  • One count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act – cannabis resin
  • One count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • One count of Careless Storage of a Firearm (ammunition) contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Both accused persons remain in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
