The Timmins Police Service is in receipt of a report concerning a local man who has been reported as “missing” by a relative on January 2nd.

The missing person is Gilles VACHON, 28, of South Porcupine. He was last seen in the area of Maple North and Sixth Avenue in Timmins.

VACHON is described as a Caucasian male with a thin build, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 161 lbs with brown eyes, crooked teeth, and a full beard.

He has a brush cut and has a pronounced and visible scar running over the top of his head.

He has two tattoos: a penguin on his left shoulder and a playing card with the ace of spades on his right shoulder.

VACHON was last seen wearing a black “FXR” jacket, blue jeans and running shoes.

The Timmins Police is appealing to the public for assistance in locating this missing person.
