The Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into an occurrence involving allegations of mischief to an apartment on Clifford Street in Timmins.

Timmins Police officers attended the location to find the tenant within the apartment.

An inspection of the damage alleged to have been caused by the tenant included significant damage to apartment walls, bathroom, and appliances.

Water damage to the apartment was also deemed to be excessive and the repairs are expected to cost somewhere between $5000 and $7500.

As a result, Faron Glenn BLAIS, 19, of Timmins has been charged with:

  • One count of Mischief contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • One count of Fail to Comply – Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was held for a bail hearing slated to take place at Provincial Court this morning in Timmins.
