Northern College will be co-hosting the 26th Annual Great Moon Gathering at its Timmins Campus this week.

The Mushkegowuk Council – Omushkego Education will explore the theme of Learning from the Land through dialogue, knowledge and insights, resources, and opportunities for educators to share and learn strategies that support students’ engagement and success.

This two-day event will have guest speakers, workshops, focus group sessions, a Thursday screening of the film Secret Path, along with traditional and cultural ceremonies.

It runs Thursday and Friday, February 16-17.
