Public Works wishes to inform the motoring public that due the forecast of inclement weather the Brunette Road lane reduction will need to take place on Wednesday June 21st.

The requirements for special line painting necessitates the need to do this work in dry conditions.

Crews will be mobilizing early Wednesday morning to set up the traffic control for the Stars and Thunder event, which will include barriers, signage and line painting.

Brunette will have some short term closures for a few hours through out the day while crews are on site working.

Upon completion Brunette will be a one-way street with a single south bound lane and north bound lanes will be closed starting at Second Avenue. This setup will be in place until July 4th.

We apologies for the extra day of inconvenience this will cause.
