Northern College President and CEO Fred Gibbons says Wednesday’s ceremony is proof to the community that the project is alive and well.

Tribury Construction, a Sudbury-based firm, is doing the construction with Timmins’ Al Youmans heading up the project. He says they’re pleased to be the low bidder on the project and can’t wait to get started.

“Monday is Day 1,” Youmans says.

The 40,000 square foot facility is expected to be complete by the fall of 2018.
