A Timmins man is facing child porn related charges.

This, Timmins Police say, follows a two-month investigation involving themselves and the Ontario Provincial Police.

They say a search warrant was executed Wednesday at a Timmins home as part of the ongoing investigation. Afterwards, they charged the man with Make Available Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography and Breach of Recognizance.

He was held in custody, and had a bail hearing Friday. Police have also advised that a Section 486.4(1) publication ban has been issued on the case, prohibiting the publication of info that could “identify a complainant or witness in a sexual offence.”
