**ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE NEWS RELEASE**


(CHARLTON AND DACK, ON) On April 7, 2018 at approximately 10:25 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fire on Brentha Road in Charlton and Dack Township, Ontario. 

Police attended with the Englehart Fire Department.  OPP have confirmed that two people have died as result of the fire. The names of the victims are being withheld at this time.

The cause of the fire is being investigated with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the Ontario Fire Marshall who are at the scene.
