**OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On May 8, 2018 at approximately 3:11 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an altercation on McCamus Avenue, in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. 

 

Preliminary investigation reveals that one male suffered serious injuries and was transported by the Temiskaming Ambulance Service to the hospital for medical care and a second male is deceased.  

 

The Temiskaming Crime Unit and North Bay Forensic Identification Services, will be continuing the investigation. OPP would like to advise the public, that there is no safety concern at this time.
