**OPP NEWS RELEASE**

During the afternoon of May 16, 2018, Cochrane members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Silver Queen Lake Road in the Town of Cochrane, Ontario.

Officers seized controlled substances suspected to be cannabis marihuana.

Timothy FILLION, 39 years of age, of Cochrane, Ontario, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana contrary to section 7(1) CDSA; and
  • Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – Under 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) CDSA.

 

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane, Ontario, on May 29, 2018.

The total estimated street value of the seizures is of approximately $1000.
