**TIMMINS FIRE DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE**

Timmins Fire Department responded to 21 calls which consisted of 9 emergency medical calls, 3 carbon monoxide calls, 5 vehicle collisions, 4 false alarms. There were no working fires during this period.

The Timmins Fire Department is a composite Fire Department that operates 7 Fire Stations; 5 Volunteer Stations, 1 Composite Station and 1 Airport Station. The Fire Department is equipped with a total of 21 pieces of apparatus, 140 Volunteers Firefighters and 34 Career Firefighters.
