It was another sunny day at Hollinger Park as approximately 5,500 came out to enjoy the second day of the Stars and Thunder Festival.

Last Minute was the first band to hit the stage, and was followed by Canadian singer Jacelyn.

Midnight Shine, a band that got their start in Timmins 8 years ago, took the stage next, opening for Blue Rodeo. 92.1 Rock’s Ryan Daily interviewed singer Adrian Sutherland before he performed yesterday; you can watch that interview here.

After Midnight Shine, Colin James performed for a big crowd. He was followed by last night’s headliner, Blue Rodeo. Colin James even came back to perform Lost Together with Blue Rodeo.

There’s more lined up for Day 3 of Stars and Thunder; tonight Virginia to Vegas will play at 7 PM followed by tonight’s headliner, Mariana’s Trench at 9 PM. Be sure to stick around for Team Finland’s fireworks after Mariana’s Trench performs.
