**TIMMINS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEDIA RELEASE**

Share your views on the future of Timmins

Every election is an opportunity to help create a new future for Timmins, and the upcoming Oct. 22 municipal election is no different.

While the Timmins Chamber of Commerce has already released “A Timmins That Works: Business Priorities for the 2018 Municipal Election” on behalf of our business members, we also want to help the public at large to tell municipal candidates what they’d like to see Timmins become in the next four years and beyond. In other words, we want to help share your vision for our city, and explain to your future mayor and council what kind of community you want to live in.

This survey is just the first step in making your voice heard; the results will be the focus of a Sept. 6, 2018 meeting that the Chamber will host with all municipal candidates and the general public. This hour-long discussion will highlight your hopes, your dreams, and what you think is possible for Timmins. More details of that event will be provided as the date approaches; in the meantime, we encourage you to help us share your vision for Timmins’ future by completing the following survey.
This survey will close Wednesday, September 5, at 5 p.m.
