**SPORTS FOR KIDS MEDIA RELEASE**

Sports Open House August 27th Sportsplex Arena 5-8 pm

Free for all! The first 200 children 3-18 years of age will received a free beverage and snack by visiting our booth courtesy Frito-Lay, Fortier and Wendy’s. There will be opportunity to try sports, register, bicycle safety and the Dare program. Timmins Rock booth has players to meet & Mascot.

Figure skating, hockey, marital arts, boxing, soccer just a few sports attending. Sports for Kids applications being taken during this event. Mark your calendars.

 

The Sports for Kids Timmins office at the Sportsplex arena foyer opens for applications for fall and winter sports for 23018 August 14th at 930 and will take applications until Sept 21st when we close for 2018.

Applicants need 2017 notice of assessment and pay stubs or social assistance proof for the month prior. Gross income for all adults supporting the child is; 1 child $31,000.00; 2 children $35,000.00’ 3 children $40,000.00; 4 or more children $44,000.00. You must apply at least 2 weeks before registration so that is now!
