**NORTHERN ONTARIO ANGELS MEDIA RELEASE**

KAPUSKASING PITCH 2018 is an opportunity for people in business or interested in starting their own business, to see how experienced entrepreneurs make their pitches to potential angel investors in order to raise investment capital to grow their businesses to the next level.

Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) will be co-hosting this session with PIC (Productivity & Innovation Centre) and the Kapuskasing & District Chamber of Commerce.  Registration opens at 5:00 pm and PITCHES start at 5:45 pm and wrap-up at 7:30 PM with complimentary snacks and beverages.

The two entrepreneurs presenting will be:

Denis Lebel, Chief Executive Officer                            Jessica Lallier, Chief Executive Officer

“Partnering with the Northern Ontario Angels to co-host investor pitch events provides our entrepreneurs with further options to help with business scale-up and product launch. Often it is difficult for entrepreneurs to secure financing from traditional sources, particularly for early-stage development. Angel investors are willing to take greater risks for greater rewards.”   “In 2016 we first partnered with the Northern Ontario Angels to host a pitch event. As a result, one of our entrepreneurs later secured seed capital which enabled him to move forward with his innovative product launch. He continues today with scaling up business operations.”     Ross MacDonald, Business Development Specialist, PIC

Pre-registration is required on EventBrite – KAPUSKASING PITCH 2018.  Individual tickets are $10.00.  Kapuskasing Chamber of Commerce Members can register for $5.00
