**ECOLE SECONDAIRE CATHOLIQUE THERIAULT NEWS RELEASE**

On Thursday September 13th 2018, students from École secondaire catholique Thériault will experience what it’s like to be homeless. The students will live the life of a homeless person for a 24 h period, sleeping outside in cardboard boxes. The following morning, they will go to class as usual, trying to complete their daily schedule.

This yearly activity not only gives students a better understanding of their everyday challenges but teaches them to not judge people.

Each student was asked to raise a minimum of $75. All proceeds from this event will be provided to the following school partner   organisations: The Lord’s Kitchen, The YO-Mobile, Project Love and The Timmins Food Bank.

From 5 pm to 6 pm, our students will be outside on Thériault Boulevard, raising awareness and collecting donations, including spare change. Anyone is welcome to stop to support our cause.
