**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service was called to the scene of an incident alleging criminal harassment early this morning at a west end trailer park in Timmins.

Upon arrival, at the scene, responding Timmins Police Service officers gathered sufficient details from the residents to form grounds to complete an arrest of the suspect.

The suspect had been identified as a resident of the park with previous interactions with residents.

When located, the suspect refused to surrender to police.

This made it necessary for the Timmins Police Service, acting in the best interests of the residents, to deploy its Emergency Response Team to affect an arrest warrant regarding the suspect.

Lester CUDMORE, 43, of Timmins has been arrested and charged with:
– Criminal Harassment contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The suspect remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for tomorrow morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.

The investigation is ongoing and could potentially lead to additional charges against the accused stemming from this event.
