It was a packed auditorium last night at Ecole Secondaire Catholique Theriault as fans of French pop star Celeste Levis came out for the singer’s second album launch.

More than 500 people packed into the Charles Fournier Auditorium last night as Celeste sang tracks from her new album, Donne-Moi Le Temps. She was also there celebrating Le Journée des Franco-Ontariens.

Celeste played with her full band behind her and her parents, Dan and Monique. and brother Dan watching in the crowd.

One of the highlights of the night was when Celeste dedicated a song to KiSS 99.3’s morning host Mark Kinsman for his continued support for her new album. While most of her songs were in French, Celeste’s dedicated song was a number called “I’ll Try”.

“She was honestly amazing!” said Kinsman, “Not knowing any of the lyrics in French, when she sang your brain can tie into the raw emotion and you know what she’s singing.”

Celeste also dedicated a song to her dad, Dan, called Daddy’s Little Girl.

Celeste’s new album, Donne-Moi le Temps is available this Friday, Sept. 28th.
