**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing.

The Timmins Police would like to determine the current whereabouts of Sophie MOORE-TAPAS, age 14.

She is described as:
– an Aboriginal female person
– 5’6 tall
– 160 lbs
– short black hair
– scars on both forearms

She was last seen by friends on October 1st in Schumacher but has not had been in contact with family members since October 1st .

She is believed to be wearing jeans or dark colored pants and a burgundy sweater.
