My name is Rock Whissell and I am a candidate for Ward 1.

For the past 43 years I have been living in the Mountjoy area. Raising my family, working and volunteering in this community has allowed me to become the person I am today. The opportunity to represent ward 1 at City Hall would be an honour.

Having a strong voice at City Hall and representing the people of Timmins is very important to me. In the next 4 years we will be experiencing new challenges and new opportunities. Having strong leaders and hard-working individuals will be beneficial to the growth of our City.

PLATFORM

  • Represent and be the voice of the people in Ward 1.
  • Continue organizing and supporting non-profit organizations.
  • Fair allocation of taxpayer’s dollars.
  • Improving the job opportunities for youths and young entrepreneurs. 
  • Increasing partnerships to enhance our quality of life.
