Every day this week we are featuring platform highlights from the Ward Councillor candidates in the upcoming election. Our stations have reached out to each Councillor candidate to outline their platform for listeners. This is Ward 5 Councillor candidate Jason Sereda’s submitted platform.

As a community builder and professional in the social services Jason Sereda has developed a keen understanding of Timmins’ challenges and opportunities. 

Jason Sereda is a strong advocate, will provide a voice for ALL people in Timmins, and is the only candidate for council who has received the endorsement & support of the Timmins and District Labour Council.  

Together we can focus on sustainable growth for our community by addressing clearly identified challenges as outlined in the Timmins 2020 plan. Opportunities for Timmins include the development of affordable housing & addressing long overdue infrastructure concerns, while revitalizing Timmins’ downtown to attract new residents and grow our community. 

Timmins is a vibrant city with diverse potential that can be leveraged to create change. We need to be realistic in developing our community and with prioritizing our needs.
