**KAPUSKASING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On September 18, 2018, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Kapuskasing officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter occurrence on Dallyn Avenue in the Town of Kapuskasing, Ontario.

 

Police investigation revealed that a suspect had entered a local business and had damaged property.

 

On October 9, 2018, Bodean LENDT, 19 years of age, from Kapuskasing, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offences:

 

  • Break, Enter a Place – Commit indictable Offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC);
  • Mischief Under $5000 contrary to section 430(4) CC;
  • Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge contrary to section 145(5.1) CC

 

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane on November 5, 2018.
