Ribbon-cutting for Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion

This year promises to be another good year for exhibitors as part of the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion at Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto. Enthusiastic participants joined FedNor officials and the Royal CEO and Board representatives for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening day of the fair. Canada’s premiere indoor agricultural exhibition runs November 2-11, 2018 at the Enercare Centre.

Fromagerie Kapuskoise from Kapuskasing (Cochrane Area)

French-style artisanal cheese, produced by Fromagerie Kapuskoise, is a huge hit with visitors at the 2018 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. The Kapuskasing-based cheese facility is ringing up sales as part of the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion. This is the 18th year that FedNor has been helping agri-food and equine businesses from across the North develop greater markets for their products and boost sales. Canada’s largest indoor agricultural exhibition runs November 2-11, 2018 and attracts 300,000 people annually.

Bill Burley (Worlds Best Cream from Porcupine – Cochrane region)

Bill Burley of Worlds Best Cream is explaining the therapeutic properties of the cream he has developed for treating arthritis. The Timmins area company is one of more than 50 agri-food and equine businesses participating in the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion. This is the 18th year that FedNor has been helping businesses from across the North to develop greater markets for their products, increase sales and make valuable contacts to support business growth. Posch Honey and Poschaven Farms

Bruce Posch is selling buckwheat flour and honey produced at Poschaven Farms in Thornloe. The Temiskaming products are among more than 50 being highlighted in the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion at this year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. The Royal runs November 2-11, 2018 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

Thornloe Cheese is off to a great start at the 2018 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, capturing the Grand Champion Award for its prize-winning verified grass-fed butter, as well as top place finishes for its salted butter and blue cheese.   The cheese company from North Thornloe is one of more than 50 businesses and organizations featured in the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion at the Fair. Dream Acres Alpacas

Jo-Anne Burton of Dream Acres Alpacas is all smiles at this year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Her 100% Canadian-made alpaca products are a big hit with visitors to the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion at the Fair. Canada’s premiere 10-day indoor agricultural exhibition runs November 2-11, 2018 and attracts an average of 300,000 people each year.

Northern Breeze Goat Farm

Jo-An Guitard’s body and bath products, and herbal remedies made from goat’s milk and natural ingredients are a huge hit with visitors at the 2018 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Northern Breeze Goat Farm, located halfway between Timmins and Cochrane, is among dozens of agri-food and equine businesses and organizations in the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion. It’s the largest exhibit at the fair, which runs November 2-11, 2018 and attracts approximately 300,000 people.

Hometown Honeyberries

This is Hometown Honeyberries’ first trip to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto. Owner Robert Boucher and Lexxy Lewis are offering samples of their jams, relish and chutney made from the haskap berry. The Timmins business is one of dozens featured in the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion. This is the 18th year that FedNor has been helping businesses from across the North develop markets, increase sales and make valuable contacts.
