Goldcorp Porcupine Gold Mines is spreading charitable cheer on Friday to Community Living Timmins Integration Communautaire.

Goldcorp will be presenting the agency with the financial capital to build a new 12×20 garage at the Vic Mahoney Centre, which is a community participation program operated by Community Living Timmins.

This new garage will give much needed opportunity to the agency to expand its current supports and programming, allowing for the delivery of new community based programs. This project will help bring back the popular woodworking program, provide greenhouse space for the gardening club, and help expand their landscaping and repair maintenance programs.

Community Living Timmins Integration Communautaire provides services to over 150 individuals with an intellectual disability. It supports these people and their families throughout Timmins by providing a variety of services and supports, including 6 residential homes, the Supported Independent Living Program, the Vic Mahoney Centre (VMC) Community Participation Program, Childcare Resource Services, Foundations Program for Transitional Aged Youth, and much more.

Goldcorp will be presenting Community Living Timmins Integration Communautaire with financial capital for the new garage at the Vic Mahoney Centre on Friday at 1 PM.
