**KIRKLAND LAKE OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On December 14, 2018, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in partnership with the Kirkland Lake Fire Services, Kirkland Lake Paramedics and Kirkland Lake District Composite School (KLDCS), hosted a chili cook off competition to raise funds in support of the local United Way.

 

The cook off was held at KLDCS and the event was a success. A total of $210 was raised and all proceeds were donated to the United Way. 

 

The OPP expresses appreciation for all who attended and would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
