**JAMES BAY OPP NEWS RELEASE**


On December 30, 2018, at 11:15 a.m., members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male asleep in a motor vehicle on the Moose River, just off the shore of the Town of Moosonee, Ontario.  

Police attended and found a male asleep in the vehicle. The investigation revealed the male was impaired by alcohol. 

Paul SACK, age 53, of Moose Factory, Ontario has been charged with: 

 

  •  Operation While Impaired – Alcohol, contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC);
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration – 80 plus, contrary to section 320.14(1)(b) of the CC

 

 The accused was issued a 90-day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension.

  The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Moosonee on February 12, 2019, for a bail hearing.
