**KIRKLAND LAKE OPP NEWS RELEASE**


On Sunday, February 11, 2019, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a donation box from a convenience store locate on Government Road East in the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.  

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at approximately 9:17 am, a Caucasian male with a mustache, wearing blue jeans, grey jacket, a hat with a blue toque over it carrying a black and grey Under Armor duffle bag, entered the store, made a purchase and walked out with the donation box.  

The investigation is continuing.  

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
