**SOUTH PORCUPINE FOOD BANK NEWS RELEASE**

The South Porcupine Food Bank Inc. (SPFB) thanks ALL our supporters!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated in February 2019 a total of an estimated 769 lbs of food and $610 including: 

–The Valentine’s Card Fundraiser raised $267;
— The Good Samaritan Inn provided 300 lbs of bread products;
— Food Basics and Porcupine Mall Food Bins provided 285 lbs of food;
— Bible Fellowship Assembly and Porcupine United Church donated in total 100 lbs of food;
— Food bank clients donated $49;
— Other individuals gave an additional $294 and 84 lbs of food.

SPFB has been serving those in need in Timmins & Area since 1987, is operated by 

30 volunteers, with monthly operating costs averaging $5,566 in 2018. For Sept-Oct- 

Nov-Dec we served a monthly average of 301 people (191 adults & 110 children).
