**CITY OF TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**

During the April 9 regular meeting of Council, the agreement between the City of Timmins and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), regarding airport staff negotiations, was approved.
Travelers leaving from and arriving at the Timmins Victor M. Power Airport can rest assured that there will not be any delays due to labour relations negotiations for the foreseeable future.
The five-year agreement, previously ratified by the union members and retroactive to January 1, 2017, will be in place until December 31, 2021.
