**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a number of local persons stemming from the execution of a search warrant yesterday morning.

Timmins Police Service – Drug Enforcement Section officers attended at an Elm Street North residence and executed a search warrant which yielded the seizure of a quantity of methamphetamine tablets with a total street value of $ 4875.00

A number of weapons were located and seized in keeping with the execution of the Search Warrant.

As a result of this incident, Michael ALLEN, 39, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– 2 counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 2 counts of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Careless Storage of a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 3 counts of Possession of a Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 3 counts of Possession of a Weapon contrary to a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.

As well, Jennifer LABELLE, 38, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against her.

Additionally, Stephane VEILLEUX, 43, of Timmins, has been charged with 2 counts of :
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

The accused was released from police custody but must attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on May 21st, 2019, to answer to the charge laid against him.

Additionally, Christopher BROWN, 31, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

The accused was released from police custody but must attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on May 21st, 2019, to answer to the charges laid against him.
