**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service – Drug Enforcement Section, working in conjunction with the Timmins Police Service – Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at a Schumacher residence located on Father Costello Drive yesterday afternoon.

The search yielded the seizure of $27,500 in controlled substances including quantities of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamines
A quantity of cash, two weapons and drug paraphernalia were also located and seized as evidence.

The Timmins Police Service has charged Justin SKINNER-WITHERS, 41, of Timmins with:
– 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– 1 count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 1 count of Possession of a Weapon contrary to Prohibition Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
He remains in police custody and is awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins

The Timmins Police Service has also charged a 17 year old female young person from Timmins with:
– 4 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
– 1 count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 1 count of Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to Prohibition Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
She remains in police custody and is awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins

Lastly, the Timmins Police Service has charged Jasmine NAKOGEE, 25, of Timmins with:
– 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
The accused was released from custody on a Promise to Appear requiring that she attend Provincial Court in Timmins on June 11th to answer to the charge laid against her.
