**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service arrested a number of persons yesterday evening (22 July) stemming from separate incidents involving persons either allegedly wanted on the strength of arrest warrants or found to be in breach of bail conditions.

During the early evening hours of Monday, July 22nd and while completing patrols of the downtown core of Timmins, a Timmins Police Service officer observed and recognized a male person known to the police bound by strict court imposed bail conditions, including the requirement to remain in his residence unless accompanied by a surety.
Once the conditions of the Recognizance of Bail had been confirmed, the suspect was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

As a result of this incident, Michael ST-LOUIS, 50, of Timmins, was taken into custody.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to a charge of Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
In a separate incident during the evening hours of Monday, July 22nd and while completing patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer located and recognized a male person, known to the police as being wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant.

Once the warrant was confirmed, the suspect was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result of this incident, Jamie LEWIS-BECKFORD, 40, of Timmins, was taken into custody.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the original charge laid against him.
In yet another incident during the evening hours of Monday, July 22nd and while completing patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer located and recognized a male person, known to the police as being wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant.

Once the warrant was confirmed, the suspect was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result of this incident, Jonathan BENJAMIN, 51, of Timmins, was taken into custody.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to a charge of Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

In a separate incident during the late evening hours of Monday, July 22nd and while completing patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer located and recognized a male person, known to the police as being wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant.
Once the warrant was confirmed, the suspect was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result of this incident, Skylar FARIES, 34, of Timmins, was taken into custody.

He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the original charge laid against him.
The Timmins Police Service will act on any information received in regards to the current whereabouts of any fugitive or wanted persons.
