**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from a robbery at a River-park Road apartment which occurred in April of this year.
Responding Timmins Police Service officers completed a thorough investigation into the incident and were able to identify the persons allegedly responsible for the altercation.

One of the suspects involved was located yesterday and arrested without incident.
As a result of the incident, Zachary MICHEL, 19, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Use Disguise With Intent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Robbery With Intent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Assault with a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Mischief under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Unlawfully in a Dwelling House contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.

Other charged persons, David THIBEAULT, 22, and Dakota TRUMBLE, 20, both of Timmins have been charged with similar offences and are already before the courts in regards to this matter.
