**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying a female suspect allegedly involved in the fraudulent use of stolen cheques in the Timmins area.
The alleged Criminal Code offences occurred during the month of July of 2019 and were reported to the Timmins Police Service for investigation.

A number of cheques were acted upon by the same suspect yielding a sum of over $2500 in illicitly obtained funds by the suspect.
As of yet, efforts by the Timmins Police Service to identify the female suspect in the photos provided have been unsuccessful.

As a normal progressive step in the investigation, the Timmins Police Service is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect with this open investigation.

Anyone with viable information as to the identity and current whereabouts of the suspect in the photos supplied is asked to call the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201 and reference incident number TI 19014873 with their information.
