**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with impaired driving related offences stemming from a single vehicle collision which occurred during the evening hours of Saturday, September 28th.
The collision was reported to police where a 2013 Ford Focus passenger vehicle had left the roadway of Goldmine Road coming to rest at the tree line.

The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was extricated from the vehicle by Timmins Fire Department personnel with the use of the Jaw s of Life. The driver was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment for his injuries.
Responding Timmins Police Service officers completed their investigation into the matter.

As a result of the incident, Klint PEPPER, 29, of Porcupine, Ontario, has been charged with:
– Operate Motor Vehicle While Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Operate Motor Vehicle – Blood Alcohol Concentration in excess of .80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was released from police custody but must attend Provincial Court in Timmins on October 15th to answer to the charges laid against him.
