New Chair of Board Trustees Announced by NCDSB

**NCDSB NEWS RELEASE**

Following the resignation of Richard Brassard, former Chair of the Northeastern Catholic District School Board of Trustees, at a special Board meeting called on October 3, 2019, Vice-chair Colleen Landers was appointed as the new Chair of the Board until the Inaugural Board Meeting in December 2019. Fred Salvador, was acclaimed as the new vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees, also until December 2019. Mrs. Landers and Mr. Salvador have both served in these roles previously, throughout their tenure as Trustees and remain committed to serving the NCDSB community and its stakeholders. In accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, the Board of Trustees will fulfill their requirements to elect a Chair and Vice-Chair for 2020 at the first meeting in December.
