The Timmins Rock are currently on a two game winning streak, and have the entire week to prepare for their next home game. The Rock only have three home games in the entire month of November, and that’s because out of the 19 games they’ve played so far, 13 of them were on home ice.

Their next home game will be on Sunday November 3 at the Mac and they’ll face off against the French River Rapids. The last time these two teams met, the Rock had eight different goal scorers and routed the Rapids with a final score of 9-1.

Here are some players to watch on Sunday for the Timmins Rock: #19 Josh Dickson, Dickson had a really good game against the Gold Miners. He put his speed and skill on display and scored a highlight reel goal in that 4-3 win. Dickson played 52 games last season with the Rock and finished the campaign with a total of 14 goals. This year, he has played 17 games so far and already has 10 goals, it doesn’t look like he plans on slowing down.

#22 Karter Renouf, Renouf has turned his game around ever since he came on to the scene, and is one of the Rock’s top producers. He has 15 points  so far on the season and managed to score the game winner ,and pick up an assist against the Gold Miners on October 25. That game winner could very well be the start of a little scoring spree, and if that’s the case… The Rapids are in trouble.

#92 David Laroche, Laroche has stood out in the last few games, and has been on a hot streak. He now has 16 points in 11 games with the Rock, and is averaging almost two points per game. The 20 year old has been a great pick up for the Rock so far, he’s been great when it comes to producing offense, and has made life tough on his opponents.

The Rock have won their last two contests and have looked good doing it. Vance Meyer was between the pipes against the Gold Miners, so It’s likely that we see Ty Masternak in net when the Rapids come to town on Sunday November 3. Tickets for that game can be purchased online at TimminsRock.Com and puck drop is at 2:00PM
