**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident early Saturday morning (January 4th) on the strength of an Arrest Warrant issued by the Provincial Court in Timmins.
While completing routine duties linked to an unrelated call for service in South Porcupine, a Timmins Police Service officer determined that the occupant of the residence was wanted in regards to an Arrest Warrant.
The man was arrested after the validity of the warrant was confirmed by Timmins Police dispatch personnel.
As a result, Michel SEGUIN, 38, of Timmins was taken into police custody.
He was held in custody and attended a bail hearing where he was released on strict conditions including having to attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on January 14th to answer to the original charges laid against him.
