**TADH FOUNDATION NEWS RELEASE**


The Knights of Columbus Council 11568 of St. Joachim’s Church in South Porcupine presented the TADH Foundation with a cheque for $22,900 today. Their charitable work seeks to change lives and this legacy continues through this donation. These funds will be used towards the purchase of a new Accuvein in Day Surgery of the Timmins and District Hospital in addition to the final installment of the 2018 pledge of a neo-natal ventilator.

The ventilator purchase was achieved through the joint forces of five Knights of Columbus councils, St-Joachim #11568,St-Eugene the Mazenod #11383, Ramore #8622, Theriault #6808 and Iroquois Falls #2641, and Filles d’Isabelle/Daughters of Isabelle Cercle #1353.

Bob Partington, noted “Council 11568 hosts various fundraising events throughout the year, this donation is the result of proceeds from 2019 bingo events at Jackpot City.”

A plaque commemorates this group’s achievement and will now be recognized as Associate donors on our Giving is Receiving donor wall in the TDH promenade.”
